What a fabulous find at a local charity shop! I saw this item several weeks ago at a local charity shop and chose to leave purchasing it at that time. However this week, as it was still present in the shop and unsold, I decided I would in fact personally purchase it.
I think this three tier cake stand will look just so lovely at a Christmas themed tea party. In fact, I am thinking of working towards preparing a Scottish Christmas themed Afternoon Tea Party for my household, and it would be such a delightful means of serving some finger foods at that!
It will be fun to plan this particular themed Tea Party. It will also be a special way to share with my household what I discover over the next little while about Scottish Christmas and Yuletide traditions (particularly those associated with food).
This charity shop find cost $8.00, which I thought was very reasonable. It is always lovely when you find pretty tableware for a fun and special occasion that happens to be budget-friendly as well.
I look forward to planning and preparing what will go on each of the cake stand’s tiers. Shortbread certainly will have to be one of the traditional finger foods found present and on offer……
