A trip further afield in the late half of this week allowed me to do a bit of opportunity shop and charity shopping in two towns, and I was delighted to find two Christmas themed hospitality recipe books in rather lovely condition, for very reasonable prices.
I have been sitting enjoying thumbing through the pages, enjoying all the beautiful photographing and at the same time getting rather inspired on the cooking and baking front.
I have also finished reading the book, “The Christmas Box” (shared in a previous blogpost) and found it to be a sweet story with a thoughtful message about family life. A good book is such a treasure, and when it is inspiring, thought provoking and encouraging… even better.
