I am still plodding away, step by step, at completing the small Christmas angels.

I keep trying to remind myself that each small step is a step closer, and that I will eventually surely get to thoroughly enjoy the satisfaction of seeing a good portion of my collection of UFO’s (Un-Finished Objects or projects as the case may be) all sorted and finished.

It will be great to see them each finally be where they should be, doing what they should do…….even if it is just hanging from a picture hook or suspended from one Christmas tree branch to precariously lean somewhat against another!

My daughter, bless her heart, is helping her mama currently to get on top of stuffing tiny angelic legs and arms with the recycled pillow stuffing I commandeered.

As we sit occasionally in the afternoon, when it is just too hot to do much else (there are some rather high summer temperatures here in our particular neck-of-the-woods as I type, Peeps!) sometimes a bit of handcraft work and some watching of an online movie or documentary occurs.

Small tiny angelic arms and legs being filled with polyester stuffing takes time. We have knitting needles and scissors on hand to help us as required.

Admittedly, I will be quite glad when we get over this current steeplechase hurdle and I can get on to the next stage of piecing together actual body parts to make actual proper angelic persons.

In the meantime, it is all arms and legs that are still the focus. One small step at at time is still one good step forward. May it soon however be time for the next stage……………
