I have yet to determine how to best fix this unfortunate mishap. It is going to take some figuring out what would be best. Superglue? Hot glue? As it appears to be made of glass, I will have to give it some careful thought.
This lovely angel is one of those very special ornaments my aunt gave me and now it is so sadly looking worse for wear.
This ornament looks currently to be both an angel and also somewhat like a snowflake. It will be interesting to see how it looks once it is pieced back together.
Accidents happen. Unfortunately, they do happen no matter how much you try to ensure they don’t. This particular ornament clearly was just a bit too fragile for how I had it stored in the container with the others.
Hopefully it can be rescued, and then I will have to rethink how to best store it going forward. For now, I will aim to figure out how best to fix it, then it too can go and hang on the Christmas tree deemed “Aunt Margaret’s Tree.”
