One of the key purposes behind this very blog is to have an outlet to share what I hope to learn this coming year about Christmas traditions practised across the globe, both past & present.
I shared recently with a visiting friend about launching this blog and she kindly told me about several resources she personally had or knew about, that had helped her share information about Christmas traditions with her homeschooled child.
How brilliant and wonderful it is when you can share an idea with a friend, and no matter how unusual or different it is, they still out of the kindness of their heart choose to think about what they could do or could share with you, to help you on your new venture!
At my friend’s suggestion I have ordered the following book, via Book Depository, and I am really looking forward to when it finally arrives! It will be great to be able to tap into such material to gain knowledge and understanding about why people do what they do to celebrate Christmas.

I hope to look out for other such books and resources as time goes by, because part of this Christmas project adventure I have decided to go on is very much focused on gaining knowledge and gaining understanding.
A book focused on Christmas? It is just the ticket for a Christmas project, I say!
